We’re coming back to Canada for a visit!
After two of the most incredible, faith-filled years of our lives in France, we are excited to announce that we are finally making our way back for a cross Canada tour, hoping to see you.
Here’s where we’ll be:
- Montréal — July 30 – August 7
- Toronto area — August 7 – 14
- Calgary — August 14 – 29 (Joel will stay a little longer until September 10)
Will you pray with us?
This trip is short. Four weeks is not a lot of time to make our way across the country and re-connect with the people we love, before returning to France. To a life we are deeply grateful for, but one that comes with real sacrifice. We don’t take a single hug for granted anymore!
Here is what we are carrying in our hearts as we come:
To simply BE with you. We love what God has called us to in France. We truly do. But we would be lying if we said we didn’t miss our families, our dear friends, and the life we left behind. And our kids? They are counting down the days to see grandparents, cousins, and the friends who still hold a piece of their hearts.
To look our ministry partners in the eyes and say THANK YOU. You have shown up for us, faithfully, generously, month after month, and words in a newsletter have never felt like enough. We can’t wait to sit with you and tell you face to face that we would not be here without you.
To share what God has been doing. We want to tell you the stories! Stories about real people in France whose lives are being touched, about the faithfulness of God and all He is doing around us. Your giving has made these stories possible, and you deserve to hear them.
To invite more people into what God is doing. France is one of the most spiritually unreached nations in the world. The Savoie region, our home, carries a deep spiritual hunger. As career missionaries, we need a growing team of prayer and financial partners to sustain this for the long haul. Please pray that God opens doors to new connections during this trip.
- To breathe, rest and be a family in Canada.There are places we’ve missed, familiar foods we’ve been craving, and new memories we can’t wait to make. We love Canada and look forward to celebrating our Canadian roots.
Our month will be full – wonderfully, beautifully, exhaustingly full! Please pray for wisdom as we steward our time, for meaningful moments with each of you, and for the rest our family needs, too.
One more thing! We will be making plans to gather in each of the locations we mentioned. If you’d like to host us in your home (or church) to introduce us to new friends, reply and let us know.
