 | | | Fourteen years ago God planted the dream of France in our hearts. In 2021, we finally felt God speak to us that it was time to prepare to go. Sometime in this process, Joel had an image of THREE DOORS that God would have to open in order for us to get to France. So far, 2 of the 3 doors are open, with one more to go!

| DOOR 1: OPEN Sending Ministry
March of 2023 we were officially appointed as missionaries with Greater Europe Mission. | | DOOR 2: OPEN Sell our Home Joel finished the reno in May (hurrah!) and we have officially sold our home to a wonderful family of four whom we feel God chose to inherit the blessings we have enjoyed here. | | DOOR 3: CLOSED Full Funding We are presently at 59% of our fundraising goal in only a few short months! Please pray with us for this final door to open. |

| So, where exactly are we moving? Aix-les-Bains, Savoie, France | |

| | Our Anticipated First Year:– We will learn: Once we arrive, our first year in Aix will be focused primarily on perfecting our language skills and learning the nuances of French & Savoie culture.
– We will serve: we desire to come under the leadership and mentorship of the French believers in Aix, bless them wherever we can with our own gifts and strengths, and support those who were there before us.
– We will pray: We anticipate through the first year that God will direct us to our “home base”. With a heart for ministry that flows out of community and natural relationships, we will be seeking God to lead us to the community He wants us to plant ourselves. | |

| | | Mission Prep:In June we attended 2 weeks of ministry training in Cambridge, Ontario. In one word it was LOADED. God used this time to equip and encourage us in some profound ways. It was so good to spend time learning with other like-minded people called to serve all over the world. We left this time feeling inspired with 2 key take aways: to live lives centered in worship and to prepare for our move to France with a foundation of peace. |

| God always does His greatest work when people unite together with the shared desire to see Him glorified. God does not want us to go to France alone! |
